I’m Adrian Masters. I’m the Political Editor for ITV Wales, which means you’ll see me reporting on Welsh politics from the Assembly and from Parliament on the nightly news programme Wales Tonight. I also present the Thursday night politics show, Sharp End.
I joined ITV in November 2010. Before that I was at BBC Wales where I presented the TV programmes Dragon’s Eye, Politics Show and AMPM as well as election and conference programmes. As a political correspondent I covered the Assembly and Parliament for BBC Wales TV and Radio as well as for Radio 4’s Yesterday In Parliament. On radio I presented Called to Order, Good Evening Wales and occasionally Good Morning Wales. Earlier I was the main reporter for Good Morning Wales during which time I won the Radio Journalist of the Year category for two years running at the Celtic Film and TV festival.
Before I joined the BBC, I was a reporter and newsreader at Red Dragon FM and Touch Radio.
I’m married and live in my home city of Newport.

I have a personal blog here for all the other stuff I’m interested in: books, music and nonsense. There’ll probably be rather too many Cocteau Twins mentions there, for which I apologise in advance. Also, the views are my own and not those of my employers.
